Respect and etiquette

We do indeed write about subjects, which are highly controversial and disputed. 

We believe in freedom of speech and are happy to receive your comments anonymous, using any alias. 

It is your privilege to disagree with any views expressed in the articles and in the comments. However, there is a big difference between a bity comment and trash. 

You are welcome to criticise and even attack ideas, but not people. 

You are anonymous as a commentator – the author is not. Write your comment as if you were not anonymous. Before you click send, think if you were ok with it, if all readers were aware of your identity. Even better, use your real name. 

In case a comment is in conflict with these very liberal rules, the commentator will receive a kind e-mail from us. If it happens again, we block the user.
